This policy applies to the JulienAuto website and to every quote request, account signup, and message submitted through it. It explains what is gathered, how it is handled, and what can be requested about it at any point.

Using this site means accepting the practices set out below. If any part of it does not sit right, the safest course is to stop submitting information and reach out with questions first.

Information arrives in two ways. Some is typed in directly. The rest is recorded automatically by the systems that serve the pages.

• Account credentials created during signup, stored in protected form
• Message contents sent through the contact form
• Technical data such as browser type, device type, referring page, and approximate region

Submitted details are used to answer requests and to prepare coverage comparisons that reflect the vehicle and driving pattern described.

Text and phone contact happens only where consent was given during signup. Service messages relate to an active quote request. Marketing messages, where separately agreed, cover plan comparisons and offers.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP to a message, or by writing in through the contact details listed further down this page. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service messages tied to an open request.

To produce a quote, the details supplied may be passed to licensed insurers and rating services that price the cover. They receive only what is needed to return a figure, and they remain bound by their own obligations over that data.

Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, where a legal claim needs defending, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of a person. No information is sold, rented, or traded for marketing purposes.

Small files are stored by the browser to keep sessions working and to measure which pages are read most. They do not carry payment details and they do not follow a visitor across unrelated websites.

Browser settings can block or clear these files at any time. Blocking them may switch off conveniences such as staying signed in between visits.
